Music to my ears

Upon returning home with Patrick and Max from a interview trip out of town, the kids picked us up from the airport. And this was the first question/comment out of their mouths.

"Can we see Max?"
"How is Max?"
"Is Max here too?"
"Did Max have fun?"

And that is the good part of being a big sibling.....because you miss your baby more than your parents.

Big days for Baby

Max has been up to big things these days. Yesterday he rolled over for the first time. I was happy that Patrick was the first to see this feat as usually things like this happen while he is at work. It was a special thing for him to get to tell me about! Then I noticed a tooth in his mouth while feeding him his bananas yesterday as well. Two big accomplishments in one day. Perhaps this would explain the rough night we all had the previous night.

Music Recital

Here is a bit of the holiday piano concert in which the kids performed. They both had nervous butterflies, but played well.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was a very special time where we focused on the real meaning of Christmas. We went to midnight Mass, had Patrick's boss and wife over for dinner, visited with neighbors, and played outside in the beautiful weather. (I can get used to 80's in December!). Here are some highlights, one of which was the marshmallow shooter guns that St. Nick put in our stockings.
