Cool item number one: taking down your Christmas tree is always a sad event. It is made considerably better by burning it up in your yard in your own fire pit. It is so....cool that children will run inside to let mom know, "It is a good thing you weren't out there! Dad said you would have had a heart attack. We almost caught the big tree on fire!" (the big "living tree" next to the barn..that I'd like to keep)
Cool item number two: Snow days. Especially when even dad gets snowed in. Tomorrow should be another. (even cooler.....we homeschool....he-he....we will DO school today.....in fits and starts...while playing in the snow!) Best part....piano....cancelled...boy scouts....cancelled!
