Where we've been

Does busy suffice? Very, very busy. Here is a quick update

1. Halloween meant lots of candy and a cold night of trick-or-treating.

2. Thanksgiving meant a trip home to Cleveland. It was so good to spend time with all the
relatives. We had an adventure every day. One involved the pirate ship swimming pool at the rec center. 5 kids. 1 mom. All survived. Success!

3. Right before Christmas Bridget and Harry came down to visit with the boys. Lots of gunplay and hiking and trips to the park. We also ventured to the mountains to get our Christmas tree. It was a blessing Harry was here because the tree was enormous. We needed a front loader to drop the tree onto the roof of the car. Did I mention Harry is an engineeer. This came in handy when securing the tree to the car, and installing the hooks to my wall in the house so we could tie the tree up. Yes, it was soooo....big it wasn't safe to stand without support from the top. I'm glad it was secured so no babies,
or mommies were injured. I think next year we'll remember 16-17 feet is just too big. Sure was pretty though.
